About The Children's Home

The Children’s Home Society of Idaho opened its doors in 1908 as an orphanage. Today, the organization offers a variety of progressive mental, emotional and behavioral health services at its Warm Sprins Counseling Center, and remains true to its mission to improve the lives of children in the community.  No one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay.

Children and families served by Children’s Home Society are located primarily in southwest Idaho. The majority of our service population are children (85% aged 17 and under) who come from low-income households and are considered “at-risk” due to their economic, physical, and/or emotional status. The conditions treated range from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder to anxiety, depression and grief to self-esteem issues and eating disorders.
